Yes. To register your accommodation with SES Hospedajes, you need a Digital Certificate.

What is Cl@ve?

Cl@ve is a digital identification tool that allows people to access their personal data and securely carry out transactions through government websites and online platforms.

If you see the Cl@ve logo, you can also log in with a digital certificate.

How long is the certificate valid?

The Digital Certificate is valid for two years from the date of issue.

Who issues the digital certificate?

Our digital certificates are issued by the accredited registration authority, Camerfirma. This authority is authorized to issue digital identities that are valid throughout Europe.

We are a certified Personal Verification Point for digital certificate applications. This allows us to issue digital certificates online.

Can I also request it myself?

You can only apply for a Digital Certificate yourself if you are physically in Spain. It is not possible to apply through a Spanish Consulate or Embassy.

When do I need a certificate?

You will need this certificate in various situations where you must officially communicate with government agencies, companies, or other entities, such as:

- Accommodation Registration with SES Hospedajes,
- Filing a tax return,
- Accessing government services,
- Electronically signing official documents,
- Interacting with social security institutions.

How do I receive the Digital Certificate?

Once Camerfirma has approved your application, you can download the certificate as a .p12 file from their website. Here’s how you can do it.

Does this certificate differ from that of the FNMT?

No, this certificate is fully equivalent to that of the FNMT (Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre) and you can do exactly the same things with it.”
